A rising fad continues to contaminate and destroy historically signaficant underwater artifacts. Leigh Bishop and Brad Sheard are two criminals who act as “Underwater Pirates” (TM) stealing from site wrecks only to turn around and sell on eBay or use as a decorative piece around the house. Instead of preserving the life and history of mother earth, these kind of people need to be locked up.

This story may not be pertinent to everyone but since I reign from the great lake Mitten state I’m going for it. Over 4,000 gray wolves in the upper portion of Michigan are going back on an endangered species list again for the second time this week. They were dropped in May due to a court decision, however they did not notify the public and therefore were taken back into court to put the wolves back on the list. A coalition of activists fought to keep the wolves protected (of course they did). Ok, so that was pretty boring. But here’s a picture that scared the crap out of me… evil

A recent study proves that Tennessee is now one of the fatest states on the planet. Yes, you heard it right here that our own city houses some of the biggest people in the United States. Among the top healthiest states Colorado wins with only 19% of their population being obese with Massachusetts and Connecticut not far behind. Guess we don’t have too much of a reason to get outside and put this beautiful landscape to work for us… whaaa?!?

I don’t know how we manage to do it, but even a horrific tragedy cannot keep the media and entertainment industry from hounding hurting families during their period of grief. An exception is when the crime is surrounded by what can only be truly scandalous. Incredible player and Titans QB Steve McNair was found dead in his Condo with two gun shots to the head and two to the chest. Next to him lying on top of the gun that was used to shoot McNair was not his wife but girlfriend Sahel Kazemi. Police believe she purchased the gun just days before the shooting occured. They still have not resolved if this is a murder or a murder/suicide. I guess we’ll find out. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families.
